About Wind Whistle Farm & Nature Education Centre
Where sustainable farming meets hands-on learning.
We nurture the land, inspire curiosity, and connect people to nature in meaningful ways.
Our Story
Wind Whistle Farm & Nature Education Centre began with a simple belief: when people experience the living rhythms of soil, seed, water, and wildlife, they become better caretakers of the earth—and each other. What started as a small family plot has grown into a welcoming learning landscape where children, families, and community groups discover how food is grown, ecosystems thrive, and stewardship starts at home.
Our Mission
To cultivate a thriving, sustainable farm that doubles as an open-air classroom—empowering people of all ages to learn, wonder, and take practical action for a healthier planet.
What We Do
Regenerative Farming:
We grow seasonal produce using soil-building practices—composting, cover crops, crop rotation, and minimal tillage—to protect biodiversity and improve soil health.
Nature Education:
From forest walks to pond studies, our programs weave science, storytelling, and sensory play to deepen understanding of local ecosystems.
Hands-On Workshops:
Seed starting, composting, beekeeping, herbal remedies, farm-to-table cooking, and more—taught by experienced growers and naturalists.
Community Events:
Harvest festivals, volunteer days, and family farm tours that bring people together to learn, share, and celebrate.
Our Learning Approach
We learn by doing. Each program blends inquiry-based exploration with real farm tasks—planting, watering, harvesting, habitat building—so every learner gains skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging outdoors.

Our fields, orchards, pollinator gardens, and woodland paths are living classrooms. Listen for birdsong, follow a bee’s flight, taste sun-warmed tomatoes, and feel the wind that gave our farm its name.
